Jennifer Beck

Owner / Founder

Jen has been working in the pet care field for well over 12 years. From in-home pet care to shelter work, and of course doggy daycares. Her passion in life is everything animal related. Jennifer has taken several dog behavior classes and is certified in pet CPR and First-Aid.

Melanie Beck

Business Manager

Melanie is the matriarch of our family and business partner/office manager. She works full time for Grant PUD, volunteers as Treasurer of the Soap Lake Chamber of Commerce, and she still makes time to help with Beck ‘n Call. She’s our behind the scenes support doing the administrative stuff so the rest of us can focus on giving your pets the best care possible.

Kennel Manager/Pet Sitter

Shirley is a California native who moved to Ephrata, in May of 2018 to join our team! Shirley and Jen have worked together in the past and combined have almost 30 years experience in the pet care industry. We welcome Shirley as our Kennel manager and new addition to our pet sitting team.

Haley Blackburn

Daycare Lead

Haley is Jennifer's niece, an aspiring actress, and animal lover! Haley's life long dream is to open an animal sanctuary for elderly and abused animals to live out their years in comfort surrounded by love.

Benson - the up and commer

Benson, much like his Mother, has a passion for animals! While he's still too young to work at the doggy daycare, one of his favorite things to do is go to the dog park with the pups. If he's not outside catching bugs he's saving birds from Jake the cat!

Our Furry Family

Dimitri is a 5 year old Siberian Husky/German Sheppard Mix we rescued from Redwood City, CA in 2014. Dimitri loves lounging around in the sun and getting hair on EVERYTHING!

Duke is a 5 year old Maximus Black Lab. Duke was dumped behind our house in 2015. after about a week of coaxing him to our door, we finally got him inside. He instantly took to my son Benson and we have never looked back.

Charlie was rescued from a neglectful home in the Spokane area. We have been fostering Charlie for a few months now. Charlie and Duke are inseparable! From playing outside to sharing the bed.

Li Roy Brown

Mr. Brown is going on 13 years old. He is a Doberman/Pit Mix and one of the best dogs I have ever brought into my home. This old man is also a rescue. He loves to swim and play fetch.

Peanut is a 3 year old Double Yellow headed Amazon Parrot and the newest addition to our furry family. Peanut loves baths, destroying paper, and going for car rides!

Miss Rose - Rose begs worse than any dog I've ever met. She loves tuna and canned chicken. If she goes one day without having either she insists she's dying! She also loves to cuddle and play-fight with her brother Jake.

Jake tolerates his sister Rose and spends most of his time outside chasing birds and climbing the trees. We will often come home and see both Jake and Rose on the roof hanging out.

Twinkie is a Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula, she is well into her mid 30's. I bought Twinkie from Pet Town USA in Moses Lake in 2001!
